After speaking to William I decided to see if there was anything I could do from across the pond. Together we came up with a list of materials that would be needed to build a new classroom and created a breakdown of the costs. With all the photos and videos I captured during my stay I knew I had enough content to raise awareness and promote this cause, so I decided to launch a crowdfund campaign on the Christmas day and began working round the clock to explore avenues for generating funds.
A target of £2000 would enable us to get the necessary building plans and permits from local authorities, pay for architects and labour and order all the materials needed. £2000 in Ugandan shillings is just over 10million and where this money wouldn't even cover costs for labour in England, in Uganda it could go so far and have such a positive impact on this community.
